WINTERGREEN OIL USED IN AROMATHERAPY

WINTERGREEN OIL USED IN AROMATHERAPY: 

Its oil is obtained by distillation of dried leaves and flowering tops of Gaultheria (Ericaceous). Wintergreen plant is a shrub and perennial in nature. Its height is about (3 to 10 cm).  Its odor is aromatic and astringent in taste. The plant is native of India, Canada and eastern United States.

Wintergreen - it is less toxic essence, used as perfume.  Wintergreen oil is used in mouthwashes, toothpaste and aftershaves. It is blend with almond oil because it has a property of counter irritant. 

Aromatherapy:  it is used in massage and bathing, it relaxes the mood.
