CEDAR  WOOD OIL IS USED IN AROMATHERAPY:


  • Native of cedar is U.S. and North Africa forests. It is Lebanon Cedar which is now rarely available and has been replaced by red cedar. It is quite costly oil, it have antiseptic property, is an important part of cosmetics, apart from being used for embalming purposes.


Waste woods of cedar are used to distil clear and syrupy oil and its odour is akin to wooden pencils.


      Aromatherapy: 
It is used in respiratory complaints like catarrh, bronchitis, in urinary infections, it serves as a diuretic. It is said to enhance sexual response, and is also used for massage and inhalation. It can be easily blended with rose, juniper and cypress.
