BERGAMOT IS USED IN AROMATHERAPY:
- Bergamot oil is expressed from peel of Bergamot tree’s fruit i.e; Citrus aurantium Linn. (Rutaceae)
Bergamot — its essential medicinal properties came to light when bergamot was rooted and planted in Italy, even through originally it is a native to Morocco. This tree belongs to the family of orange and its oil is highly citrus. Bergamot oil is emerald green and smells Spicer than lemon.
- It is useful in skin and mouth infections due to its antiseptic properties. It has refreshing and uplifting power also. It removes indigestion and bronchitis and lowering fever.
Aromatherapy:
Bergamot oil can be easily blended with most essences and holds an important place in perfumery, used commonly in toiletries, mixed in eau-de-cologue, along with lavender and neoli to seek relaxation and freshness.
