therapy of leaves of henna( Lawsonia inermis):
- · Henna consist of dried leaves of Lawsonia inermis( Lythraceae).a glubous with grayish much branched shrub with grayish brown bark, grows wild and is also cultivated as garden plant throughout India, North Africa to Middle East.
- · The leaves contain soluble matter lawsone. This quinine dissolves in alkaline solution to give an intense orange red color. It is practically nontoxic and fungicide. The flower owes their fragrance to an essential oil due to ion-one.

Henna-
it is used in cosmetic preparation in many ways as a coloring and cosmetic
ingredient. It is used as hair color,
nail color. The drug is widely used in cosmetology for its dyeing properties
due to the reaction of thiol group with keratin. It is also used in shampoo and hair lotion.
· Henna is used in Ayurvedic preparation for the treatment of skin ailments, burns and wounds.Aromatherapy: cooling effect, stress.
