MAGIC OF INHALATION AND VAPORIZATION:


  • Inhalation is considered to be very effective, as the olfactory (smelling) receptors have directly links with the brain. Inhalations are said to quite useful and effective in respiratory conditions, routing skin care treatment, such as cold, coughs, sore throats, catarrh, blocked nasal passages but use with utmost care if a person is suffering from asthma. Scented baths and vaporizers can also prove invigorating and relaxing, depending on the essential oil chosen for specific physical / medical problems.


  • For inhalations add 5 drops of a suitable essential oil to a bowl of steaming water and then lean over the bowl with your head cover by a (cloth) or towel but keep your eyes close. Breathe in deeply. Initially, inhalation may be a bit problematic but once the locked and stuck up nostrils are cleared of trapped muscles, inhalation will automatically improve.


  • Let’s see how aroma can magic, take eucalyptus oil or peppermint oils (5- 6 drops of either or 2-3 drops of each of the oils). If steam inhalation is not feasible, you can dab 5-6 drops of the essential oil on a hanky (tissue cloth) hold it to your nose for some time and take deep breathe. But never inhale directly from the bottle itself.

AROMA TREATMENT FOR ELBOWS



AROMA TREATMENT FOR ELBOWS:



  • Elbows are neglected during and after bath. But such neglect can result in buildup of hard protective layer of grey and unsightly skin. Certain person has tougher and rough skin around the elbow. But the problem can be easily encountered by magic of aroma  oils i.e.,  application of sweet Almond oil and fine Oatmeal, for which 3TBSP each of sweet almond oil and fine oatmeal should be mix to prepare a paste, add yoghourt or milk to it. 



  • This paste should be rubbed over the elbows and any grey spot and goosey areas of skin around the upper arms. If arms are flabby to the paste 6 drops of Fennel oil also. Another cheaper and traditional method to cut a lemon into 2 pieces, squeeze out the juice and then rub the elbow in the hollow of the lemon. 



  • Some person mix Lemon juice and Glycerin also for the same purpose, adding also a few drops of sweet oil of almond. Apply the oil to the arms with smooth upward strokes. You should concentrate more on the elbows and upper arms where the skin is often found to be drier and rougher.

 AROMA TREATMENT FOR  FEET:



  • Feet are the most neglected part of our body as we take care of them when they are hurt or pain or ache. Remember, feet have to carry the burden of the entire body and, if feet are tried, aching or hurt, our mobility will be restricted. Moreover, at feet lower extremities also end. While treating your feet. 


  • Take particular care of beds, soles and toes. Whenever you feel your feet are fatigued or start aching, it is nature’s waring signal. While treating your feet after a bath, treat both the feet in entirety and do not adopt a lopsided and casual approach.


  •  As skin on hand around heels is quit hard, it should be polished hard with the help of a pumice stone or damp salt. If you want to stimulate blood circulation and also relax your tried feet, you should bend one knee grip the toes first and thereafter massage in an upward direction. Starting from the toes and then going upwards to heels and finally to calves. Body oil should be massage into the feet after you have taken a bath, shower or pedicure.
  • Lets see how magic of aroma  oils can work, add 3 drops each of Lavender oil and Cypress oils to a basin full of water and bathe your feet. If you have chilblains, mix 3 drops of Geranium oil and one drop each of Rosemary and Lavender oil to 1TBSP of base oil of sweet Almond oil and then massage the affected parts.
  • Massage in between the toes and then move around the tougher skin and heel areas, in order to soften the feet. In order to stimulate blood circulation to each hook and corner of the feet, finish with sweeping movements all over the area.

CONDITIONING OF HANDS AND NAILS



CONDITIONING OF HANDS AND NAILS:

Hands and nails should be conditioned by way of a simple finger-pulling exercise. Stretch and spread the finger straight out. 
Aroma magic:
 Massage each finger with blending oils (5 drops of lavender and patchouli oil to 15 ml jojoba oil). Starting from the tip of the nails to the cuticles and up to the knuckle of each finger.

  • Hands and nails get affected after daily routine work and if hands are dirty, the dirt will pass on to our stomach with the eaten food.  If the filth gets stuck with in the nails, it can cause multiple infections. Hence care and hygiene of both hands and nails is pre requisite for our health. 


  • If hands are dipped or soaked in water during a bath, the skin gets tender and softens. It will help to clean around the nails and also clip even uneven nails without snagging. Hence the most ideal time for pedicure or manicure is after soaking the hands. 


  • For flunky and fragile nails need nourishing and rich treatment, for which they should be rubbed with oil of Apricot kernel, Jojoba oil and Wheat germ oil. For moisturizing and smoothing the hands mix 5 drops each of Lavender oil, Lemon oil and Patchouli oil to 15 ml of sweet Almond oil and apply over hands.
